Research interest
(1) CO2 geological storage
Do numerical simulation using TOUGH2 and ECO2N code to study geofluid spatio-temporal evolvement after CO2 injection into underground aquifers.
Coupling advanced solubility model, density model and phase equilibrium speciation equilibrium model with TOUGH2 code to develop program for numerical simulation.
(2) Rock-water interaction
Multi-phases multi-components system phase equilibrium and speciation equilibrium in wide temperature and pressure range.
Using and develop Pitzer theory and Helgeson theory to study properties of gas, minerals and aqueous solution in high temperature and high pressure.
